Have u ever felt so alone, so empty, so useless, so confused, so sad, so fragile, so tiered, so stressed, so left out… So depressed ?
Life is a road it has it’s ups and downs u meet new people say goodbye to old ones!
Being depressed is when u fall down and become unable to stand back up and continue your life!
Depressions can be really dangerous if u stay on the floor for so long!
They could lead to failure in school, or in college, or getting fired from a job, being hated by everyone .. Or even lead to suicide!
Being that dangerous a person should be aware of his depression, know what he’s going through in order to get back on his feet correctly.
•Some depressions are illusionary …
In which the brain makes u feel like you fell but in fact it could be just a cry for attention caused by a lack of attention (in a previous article we mentioned how much attention was important) !
•Other depressions may be caused by overvalued reasons like breaking up with someone or loosing a friend or even a pet these reasons are not that deep… People tend to give them much more value than what they are worth… Humans by nature are created in a way where moving on is not that hard “when all u got to keep is strong move along move along like I know u do and even when your hope is gone move along move along just to make it through move along”- All American Rejects 😍 moving along the loss of someone in ur life is relatively easy!
•Not just the loss of someone could depress u but the appearance of a new person in your life also plays an important role : a person who might not be very successful, who might not be a positive person who might not be ambitious, motivated etc… May lead u to get depressed by their presence!
•Moving on… another kind of depression could be caused by being over charged, stressed, having so much to do in so little time or screwing up something important!
Many more other types exist as well
But one thing for sure is that the worst depressions out there are usually combinations of various types.
A depression is a depression… We could keep explaining what it’s about till tomorrow.. That’s not the point here! What we want, the reason why this article exists is to help all of u people who have hit rock bottom to stand up easily without difficulties!
It’s not really easy recovering from a fall on the floor but anyone can recover and so will you.
-Firstly we said depressions were caused by people around u, their effect on u so the first thing you’ll do is arrange the people in your life
Put a list of all the good ones and all the bad ones ! Run the name of every single person in ur life and ask yourself : is he going to have a positive impact on my life? Or is he gonna drown me in his drama! If he’s no good just don’t talk to him anymore don’t make him feel like ur his friend it might be a little hard… Just drift off easily with small recognition
Filter ur friends !
-Meet new people make new connections (just make sure that they’re good company: positive and everything) : meeting new people really helps u get over old ones because with the disappearance of an old person a void appears and what better way to fill this void than meeting new people filling out the emptiness! And u never know maybe one person of the people u meet holds ur hand and lifts u up the floor just like that! People are different and although u might think people are selfish and all, there is always a small percentage of good hearted people out there.
(New people could be found randomly in some park on some social media network… People are everywhere push urself into meeting new ones)
-When under lots of stress one thing is really really important stand back from the situation your in look at the big picture recognize the most important stuff to do … Organize all the tasks in order of importance and just get them done ! Finishing the important stuff first will be useful for u if u run out of time later on!
-A more general way of fighting depression is simple u just have to know the basics of every depression:
Every depression has a source what u have to do to kill a depression is find the source and kill the source figuratively! Kill it in your head psychologically locate the source of your unhappiness and make it vanish : by replacing it.. Shutting it out.. Don’t make it a part of your life anymore!
Reason with yourself and ask yourself:
Am I happy with the situation X?
No!
Do I want to stay unhappy or is my happiness actually worth it?
And just logically solve the problem (the shower is a good place to reason with yourself)
-Finally, if all of the ways I gave u to kill your depression didn’t work! Try writing about it like I did (really good relief) or just talk to me about it talk to anyone about it!
Sometimes all it takes for u to stand back on your feet again is sharing your story with a person that will pull u out of your misery! Just remember that being on the ground isn’t going to be the situation forever ! With time everything changes!
